2 Drills you can do to improve your touch

Your touch on the ball is a key to your success on the pitch. Having a nice touch on the ball is necessary and looks super cool.

  • Drill 1 

Get four soccer cones and place them in a square about 5 steps away from each other. Stand in the middle of the square of cones with the soccer ball in your hands. Throw the ball high up in the air and wait for it to come down to the ground. Control the ball before it hits the ground. Make sure you keep the ball inside the square of cones. Keep trying until you get it. 

  • Drill 2

For this specific exercise, you will need a wall strong enough to take a beating. Once you have a wall (Do not do it in the house) take your ball and start juggling in front of it. When you do 10 juggles in a row, pass the ball in the air against the wall. Once it comes back at you control it and start juggling again.
